How to configure email client for shared hosting

We are assuming you are using Microsoft Outlook in this tutorial. However the same concept applies for any other emailing software.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook. Go to Tools->Account Settings (This may be different on different version of MS Outlook, or other software).

2. To create a new email click the NEW button or to edit an existing email address, double click on the respective email address

3. As Email Service, choose the option: Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click next.

4. Choose the option: Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then click NEXT.

5. Choose Internet Email on the next screen and click next.

6. Fill in the required fields. We suggest that you use IMAP as incoming. Also please note that the email username is the full email address.

7. Click the More Settings button

8. Configure as screenshot below in Outgoing Server tab.

9. Choose Advanced tab and set Outgoing server protocol to auto or ssl. You may also use port 26 for SMTP or leave the default 25.

10. Click Ok and test the account. You should receive a test email from Outlook.
